What Customers Say About La Luna:

You are timeless. You are a true classic and a major class act. Bless you for consistantly allowing us to enjoy your beautiful voice.Sincerely,Mary Beth NicholsonFort Worth, TX Ms. Brightman, I am never disappointed and always delighted with any song or type of music you perform.

The only downer was her duet of THERE FOR ME with Josh Groban. The excitement generated by A QUESTION OF HONOR was indescribable. Ignore all reviews that do not give La Luna at least four stars: They just don't get it.Brightman looked beautiful and sang every note beautifully. Brightman projected her powerful voice to a loud volume to try to cover the quavery notes coming from Groban's mouth.Four songs brought bursts of applause that turned into standing ovations. Sarah Brightman's La Luna concert recorded in South Florida was one of the two best concerts I have ever seen.

I love Sarah Brightman for this compassionate gesture. This is deleted from the DVD, but during the singing of LA CALIFFA Brightman returns to the girl, smiles and places a hand gently on her shoulder. They were NESSUN DORMA and MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, which Brightman had sung in her Eden concert; and WHITER SHADE OF PALE and A QUESTION OF HONOR, which she hadn't.Several times during WHITER SHADE OF PALE the notes seemed to penetrate to the core of my being. Brightman spent five minutes talking to the girl to settle her down. This was the big leagues. The girl was trembling, perhaps with fear, for in the next number, LA CALIFFA, her dancing was featured. But this was not the carefully controlled climate of Yanni Voices. If there is another artist capable of singing in rock style and transitioning immediately to a full-throated operatic voice, I haven't heard it.Brightman interrupted the concert and knelt in front of a ballerina, who appeared to be 12 or 13 years old.

The other was Brightman's Harem Concert. I was a sportswriter for many years and covered Super Bowls, but never experienced anything as exciting in an athletic event as Brightman's amazing rendition of A QUESTION OF HONOR. Groban, with his cherubic face and tremulous voice, is a pop favorite. And Groban is no Jose Cura.

Is makes it easy to turn off the outside world and put yourself back to a peaceful place. This CD like all of Sarah Brightman's is a great one to own. The music is very relaxing to listen to after a day at work.

Brightman's slight, quivering voice goes well with the atmosphere of faded memories. The Korean license includes the Bee Gee's First of May which isn't available in the U.S. A misty collage of images and sounds that associate with the moon, the album is has no fixed genre but lets listeners paint a picture in their minds.A journey from classical to contemporary music, Brightman succeeds in creating a mystical and frosty atmosphere- sound that wraps around the room like silk shawl. The album cover design is almost as important as the music itself.

Producer Frank Peterson has also done a magnificent job of weaving in Brightman's thin silk thread voice into a tapestry of luxuriant sounds. It cannot be said that Brightman sang particularly well, sometimes her thin voice can be rather annoying, and from beginning to end, the album is monotone in character, but the beautiful melodies compensate. version. I would expect that people would either love the album or hate it, depending on whether or not they like Brightman's voice.

Angel of music Sarah Brightman emerges as an ethereal goddess of the moon in this album. Although Brightman sings songs that were already sung by many other people, her unique colour is deeply seeped into each piece. Three and half stars out of five.

Brightman- considerably lighter (in weight) than when we last saw her- is portrayed floating in the sky, eyes closed. One of the best tracks is Scarborough Fair which is a lovely tune in itself. La Califfa is an Ennio Morricone arrangement for Brightman from the famous film Cinema Paradiso.

Her Scarborough Fair.is so wonderful. I've never been paying attention to her, but after I borrowed her La Luna CD from public library, and listened to one of her songs from this album This Love becomes one of my greatest songs all times. Now, surely I like her, and I cannot wait for her Christmas album.
